The Agricultural Farm Przemysław Mazurek AMA came into existence in 2004. In the same year was born our daughter Amanda. We decided that the abbreviation of her name will in the future be a visiting card of our firm. The production profile was chosen after a close examination of the market and its needs. Since interest in American blueberry is growing with each year, we expect positive outcome of our chosen fruit cultivation. It took us a long time to decide upon the location for the plantation. At last we chose village Mlecin in Mazovian district. Away from urbanized areas, with a quiet neighbourhood, near the forest - a perfect place. Rich in humus and intensively heated by sun soils is an additional positive characteristic that is extremely important in highbush blueberry cultivation. Hence, we began realizing our idea. The beginnings were not easy. Using the knowledge and experience of the best Polish highbush blueberry growers the first blueberry shrubs were planted on the area of 1 ha. Reliable theoretical and practical advices allowed us to build a solid base for the subsequent development of the plantation. With each following year its area expanded. Today our blueberry plantation occupies 4,5 ha.

Our blueberry farm does not have long-standing traditions but is young and modern. From the beginning of its existence we are using both already tested as well as new cultivation solutions. One of the most important success factors is the quality of the plants, therefore all plants are brought from the most qualified and professional blueberry plant producers in Poland. The necessary knowledge, borrowed from various sources, as well as our own experience, concerning the specifics of our plantation, enables the achievement of a very good results. At the every stage of produce and merchandise we obey the EurepGap norms. It is our current priority to obtain the EurepGap quality certificate.

The highbush blueberry plantation “AMA” is an individual family farm. Today we can see how fruitful can be the involvement, time, and hard work of all our family members. The quality of our first blueberry harvest was excellent. This gives us a positive basis to continue investments and a further enlargement of our blueberry farm. We hope that the future results can be only better.
